Entertaining the masses.....

December, obviously the busiest month of the year for entertainers, went well and I managed to work on Christmas eve, Christmas day and New Years eve.

December trade was generally good and I received more work than the previous year- presumably a good frame of reference. I did have a couple of last minute cancellations from businesses who had made redundancies and couldn’t justify a lavish corporate party! I suspect I will loose out on some summer trade as corporations tighten their belts and entertainment budgets are slashed. Having said that, I currently have more bookings for the coming year than any year previously, so I am being mindlessly optimistic about the recession......
